Tell me what's going on and I'll help you sort it out.
First, a quick favor (this one matters)
When you send me a question, I send a reply. The trouble is that email providers love to quietly tuck my messages into spam, promotions, or some other folder you never check. If that happens, you'll be sitting there wondering why I never wrote back, when I actually did.
So before you do anything else, take a minute to make sure my emails can reach you. Whitelist and prioritize anything from Speed Songwriting and Graham English. Here's how:
- Follow the whitelisting steps for your email provider. I've laid them out right here.
- If you're on Gmail (or any web mail that splits things into tabs), drag me into your main inbox. Grab any email from Speed Songwriting or Graham English and move it into your Priority Inbox. Your provider learns fast, and that one drag tells it I'm someone you want to hear from.
- Make a "Speed Songwriting" folder for emails you've already read. This is just for tidiness, so file things there after you've read them, not before. And please don't set up a filter that sends my emails straight to that folder automatically. If you do, my messages skip your inbox entirely and you'll miss things. Move them by hand once you're done reading.
Already checked the FAQ?
A lot of common questions are answered over on the FAQ page, and you might find what you need there in less time than it takes to fill out a form. Worth a quick look before you write in.
Still stuck? Send it my way.
