So, who are Queen?

Queen is a British rock band that was formed in London in 1970. The group consists of four members:

  • Freddie Mercury (lead vocals and piano)
  • Brian May (guitar, vocals)
  • Roger Taylor (drums, vocals)
  • John Deacon (bass guitar)

The band Queen was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2001. They also won many awards, including 18 Grammies. Their large discography, spanning different genres such as hard rock or heavy metal, are notable for their signature operatic vocals and memorable pop songs, making them one of the most innovative, unique, and popular bands in history.

Written by Mercury, "Bohemian Rhapsody" was released in 1975. The song is about a man who is different than everyone else because he doesn't fit into society's standards of normalcy.

2. Radio Ga Ga

Written by May, "Radio Ga Ga" was released in 1984. The song is about a man tired of being shut out by the system, so he starts his own radio station to play whatever he wants to hear.

Written by Deacon, "Another One Bites the Dust" was released in 1980. The song is about a man tired of being used and abused by people who are only out for themselves.

Bonus Track: Killer Queen

Written by Mercury, "Killer Queen" was released in 1974. The song is about a dangerous and seductive woman who can't be trusted.
